The Pre-licensing course can be completed in a classroom or through online learning or virtual classroom. If you decide to take the classroom version, you will receive an MV-278 Pre-licensing Certificate of Completion. No matter which version you select to take each course follows the same curriculum content. Once you successfully complete your course, the provider will notify the DMV immediately and you will not need to show the certificate at the time of taking your driver's test.
