Both robots are good in removing dirt and dust particles on floors and carpets and are able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software creates smart maps of your home to help the i3+ navigate and clean efficiently. The i3+ does not have the same obstacle avoidance capabilities as the i7+ or other top-rated robots we tested. It may be stuck on power cords and socks and have trouble moving between different surfaces like hardwood and rug.

iRobot suggests that you clear areas that the i3+ EVO will vacuum before you use it, which includes clearing out any clutter or toys it may come across. It's also an excellent idea to keep the dust bin and filter clean so they don't become clogged with dirt. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is empty or the battery is low it returns to the docking station and automatically empties the dirt into the station's external dustbin. Then it continues cleaning from where it began. Battery life is about an hour and a half of continuous usage. It takes three hours to charge.

2. iRobot i7+ Roomba

The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the top model in iRobot's flagship line, and it comes with all the latest features. It has self-charging and self-navigating. However, the most significant feature is its auto-emptying bin. This will eliminate the need for routine maintenance.

The Roomba i7+ is able to remember up to 10 floor plans and their names thanks to Imprint Smart Mapping, an application that lets it identify rooms to clean them more efficiently. It also works with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning tasks and control your robot with voice or via the app.

The i7+ is quicker and more maneuverable in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from all surfaces, including carpeting. The biggest advantage over the Eufy is its self-emptying garbage bin which removes major maintenance sources and lowers the cost of recurring maintenance.

We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot on how to start, stop, or pause cleaning sessions and also to move around the room, and even vacuum a specific area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. When connected, we were able to use the i7+'s voice commands like "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options for managing i7+ settings and evaluating the performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

In a world filled with vacuums robot that are cordless and look like minivans or buses, this small Dyson model feels like a sports car. It is powerful enough to replace a stand-up vacuum in the majority of homes, yet it is also small enough to fit on a bookcase or coffee table.

The V10 is powered by a Lithium-ion battery with 7 cells of energy that produces energy that lasts for 60 minutes.
